Goal:
- The 16 maps (excluding Felucia and Geonosis) are assigned to the Empire and Rebels.
- The aim is to capture all of the planets in the galaxy. Details on how planets are captured are given below.
- When a team conquers all the planets in the galaxy, they win the Galactic Civil War.

Planets:
- Both teams have 8 maps each. The Rebels own the blue maps and the Empire owns the red maps.

Credits:
- Conquering planets earns you credits. With those credits the Captains can buy units or bonuses. The price of each varies depending on the quality of the bonus/unit.

Sign up here or at the STR website. Depending on how many people sign up, to include everyone, extra fleets may be added for battling on multiple fronts. This will include fleet captains who determine their lineup, direction they go, and bonuses to buy. The team captain (Poison/Firehazard) will run each team. This was copy pasted from the STR website.

Space CTF will be played to 5. Turns work as offline. Credits will be earned per map battle. As in offline, fleets will be destroyed if they lose when invading a map. The first fleet is free (start at home base), every additional one is 1000. Pictures of fleets will be pasted into the map picture after battles. Teams can only attack a home base last. Teams can use different players per fleet (offense) and map (defense). Awards of some kind will be given out. Most battles will be streamed and a paid for server will be provided. Teams will be determined by the captains. Any questions, post up.

It's not a match per say, it's more sitting down and doing as many maps as time allows, which we would obviously want each side to have an equal number of turns. Each map is basically a separate match.

Technically, unlimited maps could be played in a row. They will be played until one team doesn't want to continue or loses too many players.

You may want to do away with the home planet bonus because its not exactly balanced. Empire is 2 turns away from Hoth whereas Rebels are 4 from endor.

Thought about that so we're gonna make the fleets start at the home planets. So both sides are the maximum possible distance from the enemy home planet at the beginning.

Well then that just reverses the problem and makes it so the empire has to move 100 spaces before being able to attack.

It makes it so the Rebels get to attack first, the Empire would get the next attack though since it's 4 turns to get to Kashyyyk or Yavin and 4 for the Rebels to get through Mustafar and to Utapau.

But the empire is going to have to waste that many more turns whenever their fleet gets destroyed. Unless you can put a new fleet anywhere after the first one.

But then all that does is brings back the original issue where the empire will just be able to spawn their new fleet in rebel territory.

When I made it I was going for making it as close to the offline map and as "historically" accurate as I could make it, but I suppose the map didn't need to be balanced for offline. I guess the best option would be to make the map symmetrical for the sake of balance.

Oscar, if your fleet is destroyed you can spawn it back in at any allied planet, though now I'm wondering if that should be changed as well.

While the empire has an initial turn disadvantage, they have an advantage that it takes the rebels that much longer to reach the empire's base. But I suppose if the empire wins, they never get the advantage.

Any additional fleet (1000) can be put on any friendly map. If your last fleet is destroyed, you restart at home everytime.

I edited the map so that Mustafar is now beneath Dagobah, the Rebels now have to move 4 turns to get to Utapau and 5 to Mustafar so it balances the map out a bit.
